Shift: Full-Time, 4x10-Hour Day Shifts (Monday – Friday, variable between 06:00 AM – 07:00 PM)
Setting: 885-Bed, Level 1 Trauma Academic Medical Center
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated EP Registered Nurse to join our team-oriented, high-volume Electrophysiology Department. In this role, you will care for patients undergoing cardiac arrhythmia treatments, working alongside specialized physicians and fellows in a state-of-the-art teaching environment. You will be responsible for scrubbing, circulating, and documenting complex EP procedures.
Scrub and circulate for EP procedures, including Ablations, CRM Devices, and LAAO (Laser Lead Extraction experience is a plus).
Manage patient care during nurse-led moderate sedation, including airway management and Isuprel drips.
Perform arterial/venous sheath management and hemodynamic monitoring.
Operate advanced lab technology, including CARTO, Rhythmia, and 3D mapping systems.
Participate in a balanced schedule rotation, including 3–5 late days per month to finish ongoing cases and a rotating Saturday schedule (as needed).
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of active experience in an EP Lab setting.
Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) License.
Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in sterile technique, advanced arrhythmia interpretation, and experience with EPIC/Cupid EMR is preferred.
No Regular On-Call: No call requirements, except for very limited holiday backup.
No Floating: You will remain dedicated to the EP Lab department.
