Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shifts: Days
Shift Details: Day 5x8-Hour (08:30 - 17:00)
Weekly Shift Hours: 40 Hours 
Certifications/Licenses:
  • ACLS, BLS
Mandatory Experience:
  • Electrophysiology RN
  • Schedule: 5x8hr, Monday-Friday, 0830-1700
  • Years of experience REQ: 2 years of experience working as an RN in an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab is REQUIRED
  • Will this traveler need to float between like units? No
  • License REQ: RN License
  • Required Skills:
  • CARDIAC CATH LAB PROCEDURES
    • Pacemaker/Defibrillator lead extraction/removal
    • Watchman procedure
  • ELECTROPHYSIOLOGY PROCEDURES
    • Arrhythmia Induction
    • Cardiac Ablation
    • Cardiac Mapping
    • Cardioversion
    • Conduction Studies
    • Insertion/Programming of AICDs
    • Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) Closure
    • Pacemaker Insertion
  • MEDICATION
    • Antiarrhythmics
    • Antihypertensives
    • Thrombolytics
  • PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
    • Cardioversion
    • Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias
    • Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG
  • PATIENT ENGAGEMENT
    • Patient education, especially around lifestyle and medication adherence
  • TEAM COLLABORATION
    • Quality improvement initiatives
  • Type of Facility: Heart & Vascular Clinic
  • Charting: EPIC (experience REQUIRED)
