What You Bring to the Role:
- Current RN license in your practicing state
- Minimum of 2 years of professional nursing experience, preferably in emergency or acute care settings
- Demonstrated proficiency in using computers, healthcare software, and documentation tools
- Strong communication skills, capable of clearly conveying information to patients, families, and team members
- Excellent organizational abilities and time management to handle high patient volumes efficiently
- Good judgment, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to diverse patient populations with sensitivity and professionalism
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Certification in a clinical specialty such as ACLS, PALS, or CPI
- Experience working in a Level I or Level II trauma center
- Bilingual language skills to serve diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in nursing (BSN) is preferred
- 2+ years of ER or critical care nursing experience
Other Requirements:
- Valid BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications from the American Heart Association
- Willingness to work a 12-hour shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to meet physical demands such as lifting, standing for extended periods, and exposure to infectious materials
