Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER) – Travel / Contract

Location: Bakersfield, CA
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Days/Nights 36/48 hours per week, 12-hour shifts
Pay: $56 -$58 per hour
Department: Emergency Department / Trauma Support

Summary:

Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department of a high-acuity acute care hospital, delivering coordinated nursing care for trauma and emergent patients while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, triage, and treat ED patients

• Implement care plans and monitor outcomes

• Document accurately and maintain patient safety

• Collaborate with team members and supervise support staff

• Educate patients and families

Requirements / Credentials:

• Active California RN license

• BLS / CPR certification

• ACLS & PALS

• 2+ years of ED experience required, 3+ preferred

• BSN preferred

• Acute care experience preferred

• Ability to work 12-hour shifts

• Must be a traveler

Licensure / State Notes (California):

• California is not a compact state; must hold an active CA RN license

• Must comply with facility credentialing and vaccination requirements
