"**Job Title:** Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN)

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency setting. The ED RN will assess, prioritize, and treat patients of all ages with a wide range of medical emergencies while collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team. Candidates must be comfortable working in a Level III Trauma and Level II Stroke Center, floating to other units as needed, and delivering safe, efficient, and compassionate care.

**Requirements:**

* Active RN license in the state of practice or Compact License (if applicable)
* Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications
* Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience preferred (18 months may be considered)
* Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required
* Experience caring for trauma, stroke, and emergency patients of all ages
* Strong critical thinking, assessment, communication, and emergency response skills
* Willingness to float to other units as required

**Responsibilities:**

* Perform comprehensive patient assessments and prioritize care using triage principles
* Provide emergency nursing care for trauma, medical, surgical, and critical patients
* Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions according to physician orders and facility protocols
* Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in clinical status
* Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the healthcare team to coordinate patient care
* Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical documentation
* Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions
* Adhere to infection prevention, patient safety, and regulatory standards
* Float to other patient care units as assigned
* Perform other duties as assigned
