Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join a fast-paced healthcare team. The ER RN will provide immediate and critical care to patients experiencing acute illnesses or injuries, ensuring efficient triage, stabilization, and treatment.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform rapid patient assessments and triage based on severity of condition
Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed
Monitor patient conditions and respond to emergencies promptly
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care
Operate emergency medical equipment (ventilators, cardiac monitors, etc.)
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
Requirements:
Active RN license (State or Compact License as applicable)
Minimum 1–2 years of recent ER experience
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
TNCC preferred
Strong critical thinking and multitasking skills
Ability to work in high-pressure environments
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous travel experience (for travel roles)
Experience with trauma and high-acuity patients
Familiarity with EMR systems
Patient Ratios:
Typically 1:3–1:5 (depending on acuity and facility)
Additional Details:
Weekend and holiday rotations required
Floating may be required within skill set
On-call requirements (if applicable)
