Interim HealthCare- Maine is seeking a dedicated RN to provide 1:1 nursing care to a student attending The Children's Center for Communication/Beverly School for the Deaf. This role involves supporting the student's overall health and well-being throughout the school day, Monday through Friday from 8am to 2pm, in Beverly, MA. This is a wonderful opportunity to improve the quality of life for a young student.
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized nursing care to a student with complex medical needs.
- Monitor and support the student’s overall health and well-being during school hours.
- Manage and care for medical devices including G-Tube, J-Tube, and Central Line.
- Implement seizure precautions and respond appropriately to seizures.
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
Requirements
- Current and valid RN license.
- Experience working with Deaf and non-verbal individuals.
- Proficiency in managing G-Tube, J-Tube, and Central Line care.
- Knowledge of seizure precautions and emergency response.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
