Location: Brooklyn, NY

Duration: 14 Weeks
Shift: Day | 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
Schedule: 4×10 Hours | 40 Hours/Week

Pay Rate: $85–$95/hr

Required Qualifications:

• Associate Degree (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program

• Current, active New York State RN License

• Primary Source Verification of RN license through NYSED

• Current AHA BLS certification

• Minimum 2 years of Hemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) experience

• Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and Phlebotomy experience

• Minimum 2 years of Conscious Sedation experience

• Ability to read, write, and speak English

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients undergoing hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis

• Assess, monitor, and document patients before, during, and after dialysis treatments

• Perform IV insertions and phlebotomy procedures

• Monitor patients during procedures and identify changes in condition

• Administer medications and treatments according to orders and nursing protocols

• Provide and monitor care related to conscious sedation

• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation

• Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and dialysis-specific protocols

• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team

• Educate patients about dialysis treatments, procedures, and ongoing care

• Follow facility policies, New York State regulations, and nursing standards
