University Home Care Inc is seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN Home Care nurse to provide high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes in Livonia and surrounding areas of MI. This role requires a detail-oriented professional committed to improving the health and well-being of individuals by delivering personalized and attentive care in a home setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes according to established care plans.
- Assess patients' health status and develop individualized nursing interventions.
- Monitor and document patient progress and communicate changes to healthcare providers and families.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, medication adherence, and health maintenance.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Current and valid RN license in the state of Michigan.
- Previous experience in home health nursing or related clinical experience preferred.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
- Reliable transportation for travel to patient homes within Livonia and surrounding areas.
