RN - Home Health

Pride Health is hiring a Registered Nurse – Home Health for a 12-week contract assignment supporting a leading healthcare organization in Gurnee, IL. 

Responsibilities Include:
• Provide skilled home health nursing care, including comprehensive patient assessments and individualized care planning. 
• Educate patients and caregivers on disease processes, medication management, diabetes care, and overall health maintenance. 
• Perform specialized nursing procedures including wound care, ostomy care, central line management, catheter care, and lab draws. 
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation while ensuring compliance with agency and regulatory standards. 

Qualifications:
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license. 
• Current CPR certification. 
• Home health nursing experience preferred. 
• Wound care experience preferred. 

Important Details:
•Assignment Length: 12-week contract 
• Start Date: ASAP 
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM 
• Hours: 8-hour shifts / 40 hours per week 
• On-Call Requirement: 1 weekend per month and 1 weekday per week 
• Coverage Area: Primarily Lake County with occasional travel to Cook and McHenry Counties 
• Pay Range: $53.00–$57.00/hour 
• Mileage Reimbursement: Yes, reimbursed between patient visits
