    Primarily days with night, weekend and holiday on-call involvement (United States of America)

    Position Highlights

    Spencer Hospital is a rural hospital located in northwest Iowa employing over 500+ employees. Positions at Spencer Hospital are not affiliated with Avera; however, we collaborate to provide services to the communities we serve. Employment offers, if accepted, are exclusively with Spencer Hospital.

    Responsibilities:

    • Deliver comprehensive skilled nursing care to patients within the home setting
    • Participates in the development and implementation of patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary team
    • Provides quality end-of-life cares and support to patient, family, and caregivers

    Requirements:

    • Flexible, multitasker, demonstrates effective communication and assessment skills
    • IA RN license
    • BLS required
    • Valid driver's license and proof of insurance required

    Schedule:

    • 64 hours a pay period - 8 hour shifts - full-time benefit eligible
    • Typically one holiday of on-call only per year - self scheduled
    • Typically one weekend of on-call only every 6 weeks - self scheduled
    • The schedule may fluctuate based upon the needs of the department
