Registered Nurse (RN) – House Supervisor
**Job Summary:**
The Registered Nurse (RN) – House Supervisor provides clinical leadership and administrative oversight during assigned shifts. The House Supervisor coordinates hospital operations, supports nursing staff, ensures quality patient care, manages staffing and patient flow, responds to emergencies, and serves as a resource for clinical and operational issues while maintaining compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
**Requirements:**
* Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
* Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or Compact RN License.
* Current BLS certification required.
* ACLS preferred or required per facility policy.
* Previous acute care nursing experience with charge nurse or supervisory experience preferred.
**Responsibilities:**
* Provide clinical and operational leadership during assigned shifts.
* Coordinate staffing, patient placement, admissions, transfers, and discharges.
* Support nursing staff with clinical decision-making, problem-solving, and patient care issues.
* Respond to emergencies and coordinate appropriate interventions.
* Ensure compliance with hospital policies, patient safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with physicians, department leaders, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
* Assist with conflict resolution, patient concerns, and operational issues.
* Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and shift communications.
* Promote quality improvement, patient satisfaction, and safe care delivery.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
