RN House Supervisor

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced RN House Supervisor to provide nursing leadership and supervision during assigned house-coverage shifts. The RN House Supervisor will support clinical operations, coordinate nursing activities, provide guidance to nursing staff, and help ensure compliance with applicable healthcare standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing leadership and supervision during assigned house-coverage shifts.
• Coordinate nursing activities and support smooth clinical operations.
• Provide guidance and support to nursing staff as needed.
• Monitor clinical practices and help ensure compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Support patient care operations and address clinical issues that arise during assigned shifts.
• Promote safe, effective, and high-quality nursing practices.
• Assist with maintaining compliance with applicable accreditation and regulatory requirements.
• Apply knowledge of Joint Commission standards to support quality and compliance initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program.
• Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Primary-source verification of NYS RN license and registration through the New York State Education Department (NYSED).
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Current AHA PALS certification.
• Current AHA ACLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of acute-care nursing supervision experience.
• Demonstrated understanding of Joint Commission standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, and clinical decision-making skills.

Schedule

• 34.5 hours per week
• 11.5-hour shifts
• House coverage schedule
