OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and demonstrateproficiency in various nursing practices. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring the well-being of patients across diverse settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and standards.

• Conduct patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and physical examinations.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.

• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding health management and treatment options.

• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition promptly.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to NCQA standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.

• Experience in acute care settings such as hospitals or long-term care facilities is preferred.

• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Epic or Cerner is a plus.

• Familiarity with critical care practices, including ICU experience, cardiac catheterization, IV infusion, and triage.

• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and infection control measures.

• Skills in patient assessment, medication administration, phlebotomy, venipuncture, and airway management are essential.

• Experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, and individuals with developmental disabilities is advantageous.

• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is preferred.
