Location:Cincinnati, OH
Type: Contract | 8 Weeks (With high possibility of extension or permanent placement)
Shift & Schedule: Night Shift | 3x12 Hours | 36 Hours Per Week | Rotating Every Other Weekend Required
Pay Rate:
Local Pay: $45.00 - $50.00/hour
Traveler Pay: $55.00 - $60.00/hour
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an RN - ICU (Float Pool) for an exciting Travel or Local job in Ohio.
Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and educational assessments of critically ill patients.
Monitor patient conditions and identify complex signs, symptoms, and physiological changes.
Report critical findings and significant changes in patient status promptly.
Execute multidisciplinary clinical handoffs utilizing SBAR communication standards.
Assess patient, family, and environmental safety risks and initiate preventive interventions.
Develop, coordinate, and modify individualized multidisciplinary plans of care.
Initiate discharge planning and coordinate appropriate clinical referrals.
Deliver evidence-based nursing interventions and maintain clinical accountability.
Respond effectively to critical care emergencies in high-acuity environments.
Adhere to infection control practices, patient safety standards, and nursing ethics.
Required Qualifications
Diploma in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program.
Active Ohio Registered Nurse License or Multi-State Compact License.
BLS Certification through the American Heart Association.
Recent strong clinical experience in an intensive care setting (MICU, SICU, or CVICU).
Ability and willingness to float between critical care units as needed.
Strong critical thinking, communication, and clinical assessment skills.
Proven ability to provide age-specific and culturally competent patient care.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
ACLS Certification.
CCRN Certification.
Previous ICU Float Pool experience.
