Description

Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible patient outcomes. This role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering safe and effective nursing care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care.
  • Monitor patients' health status through ongoing assessment and documentation.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards.
  • Perform delegated medical functions within the scope of nursing practice.
  • Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans.
  • Provide health education and counseling to patients and their families.
  • Coordinate patient referrals for additional evaluation or specialized treatment as needed.
  • Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory and organizational guidelines.
  • Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver quality patient care.
  • Utilize available resources efficiently to support positive patient outcomes.
  • Promote a culture of safety, professionalism, and exceptional patient care.
  • Float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on operational needs.
  • Participate in on-call rotations as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • ACLS, PALS, and/or NRP certifications as required by the assigned unit or specialty.
  • Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient care skills.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
  • Previous experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Specialty certification relevant to the assigned department or unit.

  • Strong patient assessment and clinical decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of nursing standards, patient safety, and infection prevention practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) documentation.
  • Ability to adapt to changing patient care needs in a dynamic environment.

Work Environment

  • Acute care or clinical healthcare setting.
  • May require day, evening, night, weekend, holiday, and on-call shifts.
  • May be required to float to other departments based on staffing and patient care needs.
