What You’ll Do

• Provide advanced ICU nursing care to critically ill patients using established clinical protocols.
• Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and utilize EPIC for documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment procedures and health management.
• Demonstrate strong judgment and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow safety and infection control procedures, including exposure to blood and body fluids.
• Adapt nursing behaviors based on patient needs, ensuring privacy, consent, and comfort at all times.

What You Need

• Required:
  • Valid RN license in Louisiana
  • Minimum 2 years ICU experience
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (current)
  • CPI certification (current)
  • Experience with EPIC documentation
• Preferred:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
  • Certification in a clinical specialty area
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
