What You’ll Do

• Provide expert nursing care tailored to ICU patients, ensuring privacy, safety, and comfort.
• Use the nursing process to assess each patient’s needs and develop effective care plans.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Manage and delegate nursing team resources effectively, promoting teamwork.
• Document patient data accurately using EPIC and other electronic health records.
• Educate patients and their families on treatments and recovery processes.
• Embrace and uphold safety protocols and infection control practices.

What You Need
Required:

• Current RN license in Louisiana
• BLS, ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• CPI certification (recent blue card from CPI)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU RN experience
• Proficiency in EPIC documentation and strong communication skills

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• Additional certifications in clinical specialty areas
