What You’ll Do

• Provide specialized nursing care to ICU patients, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes.
• Use the nursing process to assess patient needs, develop care plans, and implement interventions.
• Effectively communicate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams, adapting explanations to diverse audiences.
• Document patient information accurately using Epic software.
• Serve as a team leader and collaborator on the ICU unit, delegating tasks appropriately.
• Monitor patient conditions closely, recognizing changes and responding quickly.
• Adhere to all safety standards, including infection control and OSHA guidelines.

What You Need
Required:

• Current Louisiana RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• At least 2 years of ICU experience
• Proficiency with Epic documentation and excellent communication skills

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing
• Certification in a clinical specialty area
• Experience working in high-acuity environments
