What You’ll Do

• Provide high-quality ICU nursing care, utilizing the nursing process to assess and implement patient care plans
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Adapt care to meet the diverse needs of ICU patients, respecting privacy and preferences
• Delegate tasks appropriately and manage nursing resources efficiently
• Document patient data accurately using electronic health records (EPIC)
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans, treatments, and discharge instructions
• Maintain infection control protocols, including handling specimens and exposure to communicable diseases

What You Need

• Required:
  • Current RN license in Louisiana
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
  • NIH Certification
  • At least 2 years of RN experience with ICU setting
• Preferred:
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing
  • Certification in clinical specialty areas
  • Strong communication, judgment, and interpersonal skills
