Job Summary and Responsibilities
The Intensive Care Unit at CHI Health St. Elizabeth is a 16-bed critical care unit, incorporating a multidisciplinary approach to care for patients with many disease processes. The ICU is a Beacon Award for Excellence - Gold Status recipient from the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN), signifying excellence in quality, safety, and experience.
As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering the highest quality patient care according to the specific orders of each patient's individual physician. This will involve utilizing your knowledge and skills to educate patients and their families on prevention and healthy habits.
