RN - ICU

RN – ICU (Contract)

Location: California 90033
Pay: $1,987 – $2,230/week
Shift: Night Shift, 12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)

Position Summary

• Provide critical care nursing to ICU patients using the nursing process and established standards

• Coordinate care, supervise support staff, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

• Apply clinical judgment to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care

• Administer medications and critical care treatments

• Monitor patient status and respond to changes

• Collaborate with care team and educate patients/families

• Delegate tasks and support team coordination

Requirements

• Education: BSN – Preferred

• Experience: Acute care/ICU experience – Preferred

• Licensure/Certifications:

  • Active California RN License – Required

  • BLS Certification – Required

  • ACLS Certification – Required

  • Hospital Fire & Life Safety (HLFS) – Required

Additional Details

• Cerner experience – Required

• Float Pool position (must clock into assigned unit)

• Maximum 3 days RTO

• Must meet vaccination requirements per organizational policy
