RN - ICU

Job Summary:
Provides coordinated nursing care to patients according to established standards and the nursing process. Supervises assigned nursing staff and coordinates care with other healthcare disciplines using critical thinking and professional judgment.

Education & Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) (Preferred)
• Acute care facility experience (Preferred)

Licenses & Certifications:
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice (Required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification (Required)
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS (Required)
• AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS (Required)

Key Responsibilities:
• Assesses patients and develops, implements, and evaluates care plans.
• Coordinates patient care with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Provides patient and family education and health information.
• Promotes a safe and effective patient care environment.
• Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Delegates and coordinates duties of healthcare team members.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
