Location: California 95370
Pay: $2,059 – $2,311/week
Schedule: Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
Hours: 36–48 hours per week
Coverage: Every other weekend required; floating required
Provide high-acuity ICU nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
Monitor, manage, and respond to critically ill patients, including those on ventilators and titratable IV drips
Assess patient status, interpret clinical data, and adjust care based on patient condition
Administer medications and treatments per protocols and physician orders
Collaborate with intensivists, hospitalists, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
Supervise, delegate, and support assigned nursing staff
Educate patients and families and participate in discharge planning
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to safety and clinical standards
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Acute care or ICU experience preferred
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California (Required)
BLS certification (Required)
ACLS certification (Required)
PALS certification (Required)
Experience with ventilators, ICU equipment, and titratable drips preferred
Ability to float between ICU and stepdown, with possible float to other units as needed
Familiarity with Cerner (documentation) and Pyxis (medication system) preferred
Must comply with facility vaccination and health requirements
May be placed on call if unit is overstaffed at shift start
