  • Provides Supervision for LVN's, Nurse Interns, Nurse Aides, Ward Clerks/Monitor Techs.
  • Assesses patient/family/S.O. to identify patient care and educational needs within the time specified in hospital policy.
  • Assessment includes biophysical, psychosocial, self-care, educational and discharge planning needs.
  • Completes ongoing shift assessments on assigned patients in coordination with other team members.
  • Assesses patient condition at the time of discharge/interfacility transfer.
  • Completes discharge assessment including continuing care needs, referrals, and documentation of patient understanding.

Job Requirements

Required

  • One to three (1-3) years of MedSurg/Tele experience
  • Registered Nurse: CA RN license
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, within 30 Days
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support - ACLS, within 30 Days
