RN II – Case Management / Utilization Review (CNA) (Contract) – 13 Weeks

Location: California 93405
Pay: $2,743 – $2,905/week
Schedule: Day Shift, 4x10s (no set days; occasional weekends)
Hours: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Call: None


Position Summary & Responsibilities

  • Perform utilization review using InterQual criteria

  • Coordinate discharge planning with patients, families, and agencies

  • Collaborate with providers to ensure appropriate level of care

  • Monitor patient progress and support timely care transitions

  • Document case management activities and authorizations


Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Associate Degree (Required)

  • BSN (Preferred)

  • 3–5 years acute care nursing experience (Required)

  • At least 1 year hospital case management experience (Required)

  • Utilization review/discharge planning experience (Preferred)

Licensure & Certifications

  • Active California RN license (Required)

  • BLS certification (Required)

Skills

  • Knowledge of InterQual criteria and Medicare guidelines (Preferred)

  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and basic computer systems


Additional Information

  • No call required; occasional weekend rotation

  • Must comply with all vaccination requirements (medical/religious exemptions may apply)
