RN II – ICU / CVICU (Contract)

Location: California 93405
Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract)
Start: ASAP (Auto Offer)
Pay: $2,351 – $2,635/week

Schedule

• Night shift (12-hour shifts)

• 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

• 3x12s or 4x12s

• Rotating schedule (no block scheduling)

• Call: Rare

Position Summary & Responsibilities

• Provide critical care for ICU (medical, trauma, neuro) patients

• Manage ventilated, hemodynamically unstable, and multi-system failure patients

• Perform assessments, implement care plans, and monitor patient status

• Administer medications, IV therapy, and blood products

• Monitor ECG, ICP, arterial lines, and pulmonary artery catheters

• Respond to emergencies and collaborate with interdisciplinary team

• Educate patients/families and document care accurately

Requirements

• Active California RN license

• Critical care nursing course completion required

• ICU experience (medical/trauma/neuro preferred)

• Strong experience with ventilators and critical monitoring

Certifications

• Required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

• TNCC required (or within 1 year if applicable)
