We are seeking a skilled, compassionate, and adaptable Oncology Registered Nurse to provide coverage across multiple ambulatory clinic locations, including Long Beach, Irvine Sand Canyon, and Newport Beach/Fashion Island.

This unique float opportunity offers exposure to a diverse patient population and a variety of clinical experiences. At our Irvine Sand Canyon location, you will care for patients with non-oncology diagnoses and chronic conditions requiring biologic and immunotherapy treatments. In our oncology-focused clinics, you will play an integral role in delivering chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and comprehensive cancer care, supporting patients throughout every stage of their treatment journey.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative and patient-centered nurse who thrives in a dynamic environment, demonstrates strong clinical judgment, and is committed to providing exceptional care across multiple practice settings.

As a successful candidate, you will:

  • Assessing patients' health status
  • Developing and implementing care plans
  • Administering medications, monitoring patents' vital signs and symptoms
  • Providing education and support to patients and their families and coordinating care and follow-up appointments. Help with managing side effects and complications from their cancer treatment. Involved in quality improvement initiatives, and patient education programs specific to cancer care.
  • Utilizes the nursing process based on evidence-based best practices to meet the patient care needs.
  • Additional duties include stocking and maintaining infusion supplies, ensuring treatment areas are organized and prepared for patient flow.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Your qualifications should include:

  • Associate degree in nursing
  • RN III - 3+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse with oncology experience is required.
  • Current California Registered Nurse license
  • Current BLS through American Heart Association
  • A valid ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Provider Card is required.
