Qualifications& Experience Requirements for an RN Infection Control ADON
Previous Experience as an Infection Control Nurse
Registered Nurse
Certification in Infection Prevention and Control
Experience in Skilled Nursing Home required
RN Infection Control ADON responsibilities
Plans, evaluates and revises the infection prevention and control system as needed.
Effectively develops an organizational culture conducive to the establishment and maintenance of good infection prevention control practices.
Maintains knowledge of current medical (includes CDC) regulatory and scientific procedures and literature related to infection prevention and control.
