JOB TITLE: RN- Infection Preventionist & Staff Development Coordinator DUTIES :Infection Preventionist: The primary purpose of this position is to develop, implement, and maintain a facility-wide infection prevention and control program. Staff Development Coordinator: The primary purpose of this position is to develop, implement, and maintain an effective training program for all new and existing staff, contracted staff, and volunteers, consistent with their expected roles and requirements set forth by state and federal regulations. Requires a team player attitude. Expected to contribute to team efforts and professionally interact with residents, visitors, and staff. Position may require the ability to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, lift, walk, stand, sit, move, push, pull, and other common physical movements for extended periods of time. Maybe subject to encounter or exposure of chemicals, odors, air contaminants, infectious waste & diseases. WAGE: Based on experience,. RN ($32.50-$41.50/HR): DAYS/HRS Full Time Permanent Differentials include weekend differential $1/HR 6p Friday-6a Monday, night shift differential $3/HR 6p-6a. Pre-employment background & Colorado Adult Protective Services check is required. Must be able to pass a drug screen. An unrestricted nursing license in practicing state, and current BLS/CPR certification is required.
