Location: Quincy, IL

Pay Range: $26.25 - $39.38 per hour | Based on Relevant Experience

Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Saturday, Hours of Operation 7:00 am - 7:00pm. Rotating Saturday, differential applicable.

As an RN in our Infusion Therapy department, you will provide specialized care to patients receiving IV medications, biologics, and other infusion treatments. This position offers exposure to a wide variety of therapies, patient populations, and clinical scenarios, making it a challenging and rewarding opportunity for nurses with strong procedural skills and attention to detail.

 

This role is ideal for nurses who take pride in accurate medication administration, patient monitoring, and proactive clinical judgment. You’ll gain advanced infusion experience, collaborate with a dedicated care team, and provide patient education to ensure safe, effective, and positive treatment outcomes.

Primary Responsibilities

Administer IV infusions, medications, and biologic therapies according to provider orders and clinic protocols, maintaining the highest standards of patient safety. Monitor patients closely for adverse reactions and intervene promptly as needed. Provide thorough patient education on therapy plans, medication schedules, and potential side effects. Maintain meticulous documentation in the EMR, including treatment details, vital signs, and patient responses. Collaborate with providers, pharmacists, and support staff to ensure seamless care and optimal patient outcomes. Apply critical thinking and independent judgment to anticipate patient needs, troubleshoot complications, and adjust care plans within scope of practice.

Qualifications

  • Current Illinois RN license required

  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred, ideally in infusion, oncology, rheumatology, or procedural care

  • BLS certification required (training available upon hire)

  • Strong procedural skills, attention to detail, and patient monitoring abilities

  • Excellent clinical judgment and ability to respond quickly to patient needs

  • Effective communication and patient education skills

  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, treatment-focused environment
