    Description

    12 Hour Shifts 7-7 with rotating weekend and holiday coverageResponsibilities: Develops and executes plan of care within interdisciplinary setting. Provides compassionate bedside care with a focus on patient goals. Will regularly complete assessments for physical and emotional needs. Will provide supportive education, coaching, and guidance to family and loved ones regarding patient condition and needs. Will utilize a variety of nursing skills to maintain physican care and comfort. Treats, educates patient and families about medical conditions and provides emotional support to patients' family members. Documents care, operates medical equipment, and administers medications. Assists CNA and LPN with duties and provide nursing guidance when necessary. Able to productively work with or without supervision, and be accountable for completion of work and assignments. Requirements: Current or pending AR or Compact Registered Nurse lcense without restrictions, Prefer previous experience in a healthcare facility; home health, hospice, gerontology, geriatrics, acute or terminal care. Compassionate, sympathetic, responsible, and detail oriented individuals that are able to cope with human suffering is necessary. Strong documentation and communication skills are required. Electronic medical records experience and attention to detail with documentation standards. Strong clinical assessment skills. Ability to manage and assess care plans. Ability to work collaboratively and pleasantly with staff, patients, and visitors. Able to excercise sound judgement and seek clarification when necessary. Reliable and dependable for scheduling and availability.
