As a key member of the interdisciplinary care team, you will apply your professional nursing knowledge and clinical skills to deliver and manage high-quality patient-centered care for patients and their families.

This role supports all Medical-Surgical inpatient units across the three Quad City campuses, offering opportunities to broaden clinical expertise while collaborating with diverse care teams. Practice is guided by the ANA Code of Ethics, UnityPoint Healths Philosophy of Nursing, and the Professional Nurse Practice Model, fostering a supportive collaborative environment focused on excellence in nursing care.

Responsibilities Delivers high-quality care utilizing the nursing process while demonstrating knowledge and clinical skills of the specialty required on assigned unit in accordance with established policies, procedures, and standards of care.

Consults appropriate resources within the hospital to provide specialized education.

Demonstrates knowledge that patient and workplace safety is a priority by preventing errors, accidents, and infections, and reporting potential or actual concerns immediately.

Promptly completes documentation to assure an accurate legal record of patients care.

Continues professional development and involvement in professional activities that enhance nursing practice by sharing knowledge through networking and research.

Qualifications Requirements Diploma from an RN program.

Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in primary state. Must apply within 90 days for licensure in secondary state.

Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support BLS certification.

Work may occasionally require travel to other UPH facilities.
