Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology RN to support a high-volume procedural imaging department within a Level I trauma center.

Position Overview:

The IR RN will provide comprehensive nursing care before, during, and after interventional radiology and minimally invasive procedures. This role requires strong critical care skills, hemodynamic monitoring experience, and the ability to respond rapidly to patient changes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide pre- and post-procedure assessments

  • Monitor sedation and patient hemodynamics during procedures

  • Administer medications and IV therapy

  • Assist with angiography, biopsies, drain placements, and other IR procedures

  • Collaborate with radiologists and procedural staff

  • Ensure accurate documentation in EMR

Requirements:

  • Active AZ or Compact RN license

  • 2+ years ICU, ED, or IR experience

  • BLS and ACLS required

  • Moderate sedation experience preferred
