Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (Contract)

Location: California 95422
Pay: $2,716 – $3,040/week

Schedule:

• Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM (12-hour shifts)

• 36 hours per week

• Every other weekend required

Position Summary & Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care in Labor & Delivery, postpartum, and newborn settings

• Manage laboring patients and assist with deliveries

• Monitor maternal and newborn status and respond to changes

• Administer medications and treatments per protocols

• Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams

• Educate patients and families on care and recovery

• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure patient safety

Requirements:

• Active RN license (State of California)

• BLS certification (AHA)

• NRP certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)

• Minimum 3–4 years recent Labor & Delivery experience

• Strong labor and postpartum experience

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Preferred Qualifications:

• ACLS, STABLE, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring

• Nursery experience (any level)

• Basic computer skills

Additional Notes:

• No call required; no floating required

• Every other weekend required

• Must maintain required certifications

• Must meet vaccination and E-Verify requirements
