Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Labor & Delivery (L&D) unit. The RN will provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns throughout the labor, delivery, recovery, and immediate postpartum process while collaborating closely with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

REQUIREMENTS
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current BLS certification
Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Minimum one (1) year of recent Labor & Delivery experience as a Registered Nurse required
Clinical rotations and nurse residency programs do not count toward the required experience
Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
National certification in Labor & Delivery or related specialty
Experience in a high-acuity Labor & Delivery environment
Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based practice and quality patient care
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care throughout labor and delivery
Monitor maternal and fetal conditions and communicate changes appropriately
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
Coordinate patient care across the continuum of services
Support family-centered care and patient education
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Collaborate with physicians, midwives, neonatal teams, and other healthcare professionals
Promote patient safety, quality outcomes, and evidence-based nursing practice
Participate in ongoing professional development and education
IDEAL CANDIDATE
Minimum one full year of post-graduate Labor & Delivery experience as a Registered Nurse
Experience managing laboring patients in an acute-care setting
Strong clinical judgment and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Passion for delivering exceptional maternal and newborn care
