We’re seeking an experienced L&D RN for primarily night shifts in Clearlake, California. This role is ideal for nurses with strong labor, delivery, and postpartum experience who are comfortable supporting occasional day shift coverage.

Assignment Details

• Shift: Primarily Nights, 1800 – 0630 (some day coverage as needed)

• Hours: 36 hours/week

• Location: Clearlake, CA

• Experience: 3–4 years in labor and delivery

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) License – California – Required

• BLS Certification – Required

• ACLS Certification – Preferred

• NRP Certification – Required

• STABLE Certification – Preferred

• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification – Must obtain within 6 months; recertify every 2 years

Experience & Skills

• Strong labor & delivery experience

• Comfortable with postpartum care

• Nursery experience (any level) appreciated

• Familiarity with hospital crash cart, patient monitoring, and emergency protocols

• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in labor, delivery, and postpartum units

• Monitor fetal and maternal status using appropriate techniques and equipment

• Assist with deliveries and perform postpartum assessments

• Document patient care accurately and timely

• Respond to emergencies per hospital policies and protocols

• Support team coverage on occasional day shifts as needed
