Job Summary:
Provides skilled nursing care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period while supporting safe maternal-fetal outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Monitor maternal and fetal status and provide direct nursing care throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery
Assist with labor management, delivery procedures, and emergency interventions while promptly reporting changes in patient condition
Educate patients and families, collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, and maintain accurate clinical documentation
Requirements: Licensure: Active CA RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP– Required; AWHONN Experience: 1-year L&D RN full-time experience within the last 3 years Preferred: High Risk OB/L&D experience is highly desired
