    Description

    Position: RN – Labor & Delivery
    Address: West Bend, WI 53095
    Duration: 13 Weeks 
    Shift: Night | 7:30 PM – 7:00 AM | 12-hour shifts | 36 Hours/Week | 3 Days/Week
    Schedule Notes:

    • 12-hour night shifts.
    • Weekend rotation, up to every other weekend.
    • No on-call requirement.
    • No floating.

    Required Experience:

    • Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to area of employment.
    • Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of education at an accredited School of Nursing in order to be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse.

    Education:

    Required:

    • Associate's degree in Nursing.

    Preferred:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.

    Licenses & Certifications:

    • Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact).
    • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or AHA-approved equivalent.
    • American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required within one year of hire.
    • Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification through the National Certification Corporation (NCC) required within 18 months from date of hire.

    Job Summary:

    The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This individual demonstrates competency in delivery of care to a primarily adult population. The Staff RN-Inpatient job description has incorporated essential functions adapted from the ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice, 2nd Edition (2010).
