RN – Level 2 (Traumatic Brain Injury) (Contract) – New York (14642)

• Location: New York, 14642

• Pay Rate: $2,059 – $2,311 (weekly)

• Schedule: 3x12s, Straight Nights

  • Includes weekends, holidays, on-call, callback, and charge duties per unit needs

• Unit: Adult & Pediatric Traumatic Brain Injury Unit (State-of-the-art facility)

Position Requirements:

• Active New York RN license (NY ONLY accepted)

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

• Telemetry experience required

• Recent pediatric experience required

• BLS (AHA only) required

• PALS or PEARS preferred

• Experience caring for neuro/brain injury patients preferred

Unit Overview:

• Care for adult and pediatric patients recovering from traumatic brain injuries including strokes, falls, oncologic surgery, and motor vehicle injuries

• Work within an interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced, supportive environment

• Provide both clinical care and emotional support to patients and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care using critical thinking and clinical judgment

• Monitor telemetry and respond to changes in patient condition

• Participate in patient care planning and interdisciplinary collaboration

• Support patients in regaining independence through recovery

• Provide education and encouragement to patients and families

• Perform charge, on-call, and callback duties as assigned
