We are looking for a dependable, compassionate nurse who enjoys working with residents and being part of a supportive team. This position provides hands-on nursing care within our long-term care and rehabilitation facility specializing in geriatrics.

Qualifications
Current Alabama LPN or RN license, or applicable temporary license
Must pass a background check and drug screen
Long-term care experience preferred
Strong communication and documentation skills
Dependable, professional, and resident-focused
Responsibilities
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Assess and monitor residents for changes in condition
Complete accurate electronic nursing documentation
Communicate changes in resident condition to physicians, responsible parties, and other members of the care team
Order medications from the pharmacy as needed
Supervise and support CNA staff
Provide wound care and treatments
Collect and process laboratory specimens
Work with the interdisciplinary team to provide quality resident care
