UnityPoint at Home- Pediatrics is looking to hire full- and part-time pediatric home care nurses LPNs in the Quad Cities IA Des Moines Waterloo IA and surrounding areas. We have current needs for 1st 2nd and 3rd shift.

Responsibilities

Join an amazing team at a nationally recognized Top Place to Work in Healthcare As a Pediatric Home Care LPN with UnityPoint at Home youll work one-on-one with children and their families to develop the care plan that is right for them. Our pediatric nurses make it possible for patients to receive the care they need where theyre most comfortable - in their homes

Ped Nurses provide skilled nursing care to pediatric-young adult patients with special health care needs for shifts of time in the patients home. Perform prescribed activities directed under the patients physicians care which may include patient assessments feedings respiratory system management medication administration activities of daily living and therapy programs. Assist in care coordination with care team. May be responsible for transportation of patient.

Qualifications

Graduate of State Board approved program for Licensed Practical Nurses and valid license Licensed Practical Nurse.

CPR Certification.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Ability to work as a collaborative team member.

Integrated Care Management ICM certification or successful completion of certification within one year of employment.

Valid Mandatory Reporter course completion by states requirement

Valid licensed driver with automobile insurance in accordance with state andor organizational requirements.

Maintenance of an acceptable driving record i.e. no OWI" convictions in last 7 years or no more than 3 moving violations in last 3 years.

An unacceptable driving record may result in suspension termination or transfer to another position not requiring the ability to drive.

Specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience skills internal equity and other business needs. The salary range listed does not include other forms of compensation which may include bonusesincentive differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits that may be applicable to this role.
