    About the Role

    As a Registered Nurse in Urology at Quincy Medical Group, you will provide compassionate nursing care to patients with a wide variety of urologic conditions. Working closely with urologists and the clinical team, you will coordinate patient care, assist with in-office procedures, provide education, and support patients through diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.

    This position is ideal for a nurse who enjoys patient education, care coordination, and building lasting relationships in a specialty clinic environment.

    Schedule & Work Environment

    • Full-time position, Monday-Friday, daytime hours.
    • Schedule may vary based on provider and departmental needs.
    • Occasional outreach travel is required to support patient care at designated clinic locations.
    • No routine weekends, holidays, or overnight shifts.
    • Fast-paced outpatient specialty clinic.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Assess patients, obtain vital signs, review medical histories, and reconcile medications.
    • Assist providers with examinations and in-office urologic procedures.
    • Coordinate laboratory testing, imaging, referrals, procedures, medication refills, and follow-up appointments.
    • Educate patients regarding diagnoses, medications, procedures, and treatment plans.
    • Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record.
    • Collaborate with providers and the care team to promote efficient clinic operations and an exceptional patient experience.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Current Illinois Registered Nurse license required.
    • Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
    • Current CPR certification required.
    • Previous ambulatory care or specialty clinic experience preferred.
    • Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
    • Experience with electronic medical records preferred.

    The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $18.66 - $27.99 per hour for LPNs,$25.00 - $37.50 per hour for RNs, with actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
