RN/LVN - Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Currently licensed with the State of Texas. Emergency Room experience required. Must have effective oral and written communication skills. Must be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds. Occasional heavy lifting may be required.

Responsible in assisting or performing assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of each assigned ER patient. Plans, provides, and documents discharge planning, teaching and educates patients, family or others to attain optimal health and continuity of care independently or as assigned. Assures that the plan of care is carried out in a safe environment through performance and supervision of the healthcare team members. Must be willing to work in all areas of the hospital.

NA/NURSE TECH - Currently licensed with the State of Texas or current Paramedic Certification through Texas Department of State Health Services. Current CPR certification, ACLS, and PALS required within 6 months for Emergency Room. Must have effective oral and written communication skills. Must be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds. Occasional heavy lifting may be required.

Assists the registered nursing staff in providing positive patient outcomes through direct patient care. Under supervision of a Registered Nurse gives direct and indirect patient care as assigned within scope of practice. As part of the healthcare team, assists in assuring that the patients, family members or other caregivers attain optimal health and continuity of care. Assures that patient care is carried out in a safe environment.
