Description

Under supervision of the Director, provides direct supervision for nursing education ensuring comprehensive education services. The Manager provides day-to-day immediate management of department operations, thus allowing the Director opportunity to focus on long-term planning, budget, goals, outcomes, decision-making and other higher-level management functions. This position also assists with quality review, performance management, customer service, and staffing management. The scope and span of control for the Manager may include more than one unit and/or clinical service.

Required Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Nursing. Or

Master's Degree in a related healthcare field. And

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Or

Ph.D. in Nursing.

Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.

3 years of Acute care professional experience.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
