A 126-bed acute care hospital in Sebring, FL is seeking an RN Manager for its ICU. The facility offers a full range of emergency, surgical, and inpatient and outpatient services, and is home to the area's only dedicated Senior Emergency Room.
The role. The ICU Manager reports to the Nursing Director and practices in accordance with American Nurses Association (ANA) standards of practice and Code of Ethics. This leader is responsible for coordinating and overseeing patient care across the unit on a 24-hour basis, collaborating with the Nursing Director, physicians, and nursing administration to maintain all operational aspects of the department. The role includes assisting in the development and evaluation of personnel, providing professional guidance to nursing staff, and ensuring adherence to established policies, procedures, and accepted standards of care. The Manager also actively promotes cooperation and positive working relationships across departmental and interdepartmental levels.
What we're looking for.
• Associate Degree
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Minimum 5 years of Critical Care clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a full-time Charge Nurse/Coordinator, Nursing Administrative Supervisor, or Nursing Management
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
Schedule. Full-time, mixed schedule with no weekends.
