This RN Manager, ICU position is based in Sebring, FL at a 126-bed acute care hospital that operates the area's only dedicated Senior Emergency Room, featuring specialized accommodations and discharge planning resources for older patients. The facility provides a full range of emergency, surgical, and inpatient and outpatient services and has served the region and surrounding counties for decades.

The role. The ICU Clinical Manager reports to the Nursing Director and operates within American Nurses Association standards of practice and Code of Ethics to provide 24-hour operational oversight of the intensive care unit. Day-to-day responsibilities center on coordinating and overseeing patient care across a range of ages and acuity levels, assisting with the development and performance evaluation of unit personnel, and collaborating with the Nursing Director, physicians, and nursing administration on staffing and operational priorities. The manager also provides professional clinical guidance to nursing staff, ensures adherence to established care standards and procedures, and actively cultivates cooperative working relationships both within the unit and across departments.

What we're looking for.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (minimum)
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum 5 years of critical care clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a full-time Charge Nurse, Nurse Coordinator, Nursing Administrative Supervisor, or in a Nursing Management role
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date

Schedule. Full-time, mixed schedule with no weekend requirement.

Compensation. $42.36 - $42.36/hr
