POSITION OVERVIEW
As a RN Manager your roles and responsibilities will include:
- Oversees Care Managers and support staff to promote and ensure effective and efficient patient care management services across the healthcare continuum.
- Supervises caregiver activities to foster a teamwork environment in which caregivers are highly engaged and facilitates the growth and development of the department to meet the needs of our patients, community and ministry in response to the dynamic nature of the healthcare environment.
- Oversees the collection, analysis, and reporting of quality data related to department services, quality improvement, and performance improvement. Plans, organizes, analyzes, develops and implements Departmental programs, services and strategies to ensure favorable operating results.
- Adheres to all Budgetary and Productivity goals/standards. Ensures the attainment of Department and Hospital goals, policies and procedures. Responsible for department recruitment, hiring, training, development and retention of caregivers.
QUALIFICATIONS
Most importantly, you need to be a passionate RN Manager who enjoys his work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal RN Manager would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- 5 years of previous experience working in a healthcare role.
- 3 years of previous Case Management experience within an acute care setting.
- 1 year of Healthcare leadership experience.
