Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Lubbock, TX
Pay: $50.00 per hour
Schedule: Nights | 3 x 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Aura Staffing Partners is seeking an experienced Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic hospital team in Lubbock, Texas. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled RN who thrives in a fast-paced acute care environment and is committed to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and recognize changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Document patient care accurately using the EPIC electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
• Maintain a safe and patient-centered care environment.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med Surg/Telemetry experience
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Current BLS certification
• ACLS certification preferred
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team
