Med-Surg / Telemetry

Responsibilities:

• Provide safe, comprehensive nursing care to adult Med-Surg and Telemetry patients.
• Primarily work on a Comprehensive Medical Unit while occasionally floating to Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and other Med-Surg units.
• Perform patient assessments, medication administration, monitoring, documentation, and care coordination.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to provide quality patient care.

Salary& Shift Details:

• Weekly Pay: $2,250
• W-2 Pay: $27.90/hour + $1,246/week stipend
• Overtime: $76/hour
• 13-Week Contract
• 36 Hours/Week
• Day Shift
• Every Other Weekend Required
• No Call Requirement

Requirements:

• Active RN license required.
• Active BLS/BCLS certification required.
• Minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown RN experience.
• Must be proficient in Telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation.
• Current Epic EMR proficiency is mandatory; candidates must be able to work independently in Epic without refresher training or 1:1 assistance.
• Must be willing to work every other weekend and float between Med-Surg units as needed.
